Celebrating Success for Network and Security Research Group

Research group leader Professor Nurul Sarkar is one of the co-authors of a new book published by Taylor and Francis - “Improving Security and Energy Efficiency in IoT Networks: a Practical Guide”

Professor Sarkar has also received MBIE project grant of approximately $139,000 in collaboration with his industry partner Tait Communications Ltd.

The grant will be used to investigate Feasibility and Performance Limits of RF-based Sensing for Motion Detection in Mission-Critical Environments over next four years.

The researcher will work within AUT and on site of Tait Communications in Christchurch providing a valuable contribution to the research and development of this novel field.
