Midyear networking event

CIS RC has hosted a mid-year networking event for both academic and student members.

The event has featured several exciting presentations:

• Our industry partners from Soterra have presented their innovative solutions to harness construction data and support the project teams in delivering better results
• Doctor Stephen Thorpe announced the second Project Management Symposium that follows a successful launch in 2025, as well as officially launched a Journal of New Zealand Project Management (JNZPM)
• Professor Minh Nguyen introduced his innovative platform TechTahi - a syntax-free AI tool that helps learners and communities turn natural-language ideas into working software.

As usual it was a pleasure to bring everyone together, share and exchange ideas and discuss future collaboration opportunities.
