The NZ IT Project Management Research Symposium 2025

CIS RC is proud to support Dr Stephen Thorpe and the NZ IT Project Management Research Symposium 2025 held at AUT on Thursday 27 November.

The keynote speakers, Youssef Mourra, Founder and Principal at Nonsuch, and Damon Kelly, Founder and CEO at Enlighten Designs, provided thought-provoking insights in their addresses and set the tone for the day. The industry panel debate around the future of project management in an era of AI was one of the highlights of the programme. 12 posters were presented in the AUT Computer and Information Sciences Research Centre Poster Showcase, with 12 papers presented by students and alumni from AUT’s Master of IT Project Management as well as PhD students on their research topics of agile project delivery, digital transformation and innovation in IT projects, and people, teams, AI and leadership. Over $8,000 in prize value went out to the top posters and best papers at the research symposium this year.
